Richard Brunton is a Florida CPA based in Boca Raton, Florida. Other Florida facilities are located in Tampa,Sarasota and Naples. He received his undergraduate degree (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Toronto and his Master's Degree (Accounting and Taxation) from Florida International University.

He is an Ontario (Canada) Chartered Accountant and former member of the Toronto office of the present firm of Ernst & Young, Chartered Accountants, and recipient of the Elijah Watts Sells award from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Since 1984 his practice has been limited to international taxation. For the past 20 years he has edited and published "Brunton's U.S. Taxletter for Canadians," a subscription based publication issued three times annually. He has also written numerous articles on international taxation for various newspapers and other publications.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
