Planning for the end of the non UK domicile rules

Most of you will know the benefits of havingnon UK domicile status. Mainly it comprises the remittance basis of tax for overseas income and gains and an inheritance tax exemption for overseas assets. However, I've come across a few people who are worried as to what would happen in the Government did implemenent significant changes to these rules. In particular is there anything that could be done now to preserve the benefits?
